Multiple Teams · Defense Dominates NCC

Cooper improved to 2-0 on the year with a dominating victory over NCC this past Friday. Leading the way was the defensive unit as they dominated the game. Cooper’s defense held the Thoroughbreds to just 55 first half yards and 145 total yards for the game.  Two key interceptions, one by Cole Hicks, the other by Justin Parks, helped keep NCC off the scoreboard.

Cooper’s offense was led by Torrey Cordell-Armstrong’s 134 yards rushing and Billy Prickett’s 3 touchdown passes. The TD passes went to Cole Willging, Chad Michels, and Dante Hendrix.

Next week the Jaguars will take on Boone County (1-1) at Cooper with kickoff set for 7:30 pm.
